ROOMS AT MERAKI

We have six spacious private bungalows. 

Some have sea views, but you will be able to, at least, glimpse the ocean from every one of them.

Walking past the passionfruit and lemon grass planted at the entrance, you enter an oasis of calm. We used traditional Zanzibarian building materials in combination with high quality modern interiors.  The result is an authentic yet contemporary escape.

 
You can relax on our comfortable double seater couch in the room or chill on the private veranda couches overlooking the small gardens.  Beautiful wooden floors and an outdoor shower are only some of our unique features.  Every room is decorated with unique paintings by local residents. A comfortable King size bed will ensure you have a relaxing sleep.

The rooms are 37.5 m2 with an additional private veranda of 10m2
An additional single bed – extra sized at 4 feet (122 cm) wide - is available in rooms on request.  All rooms have a desk and bench chair, and a spacious wardrobe has plenty of space for suitcases and storage. In the wardrobe you will find a safety deposit box, which is large enough to hold laptops and tablets.
We have fridges and supply free safe drinking mineral water
We supply large bath towels and small hand towels.
Kangas – local pareo wraps - for the beach and bathrobes are also provided.
International, universal sockets with USB are in the rooms and beside the bed
Breakfast is included in our room rates
